Winter Wedding Anyone?

When most people think of “wedding season,” the time of year that comes to mind tends to be summer.

In fact, as summer approaches, the amount of wedding invitations in your mail starts to pile up rather quickly.

While summer is a fabulous time for an outdoor event or ceremony, there are other seasons that might be worth considering for your wedding in Gibraltar.

If you’re planning a wedding, don’t rule out a winter one just yet. Not only can winter be a beautiful time of year for a wedding, but it can also be the key to a more frugal wedding. You don’t have to spend a fortune to have a beautiful day anytime of the year, however, winter might make that even easier while still allowing you to have almost everything you want. Here’s why a winter wedding should be at the top of your list if you want to have a frugal wedding.

As mentioned above, summer is peak wedding season. Suppliers and venues can all be booked months in advance and so, booking a winter wedding ensures their availability for your wedding.

The winter period is also ideal for honeymoon go-ers at countries with opposite weather, which means you can sit on that white sand beach sipping on those much needed post wedding cocktails.

It is often agreed that we prefer to be a little cold than hot and sweaty in the scorching summer months. Longer hair can be let down, make-up perfectly intact, and evening dresses and suits looking elegant, crisp and picture perfect. A warm wedding favour such as a shawl or gloves is not only unique but very practical for the cooler days ahead.

We’d like to inform our clients, in advance, that the Registry Office will be closed during the last two weeks in December and the first week in January.

Whatever idea you have in mind for your wedding, we’d like to hear about it and see if we can make it come true for you. So, as per usual, all that remains to be said is, contact us! We’re here for you.
