The O’Callaghan Eliott Hotel

As you will already know from our website, we work with some of the best venues here in Gibraltar. In fact, our Rock boasts some of the finest hotels and restaurants. One of those special hotels is The O’Callaghan Eliott Hotel, which is a fine four star hotel with 123 rooms, a rooftop pool with incredible views, two restaurants and many other facilities for your comfort and relaxation. It’s friendly and welcoming and you’ll find it has everything you need to really enjoy your stay in Gibraltar.
As a side line, and if you enjoy live music, you might like to know that The O’Callaghan Eliott Hotel is renowned among Gibraltarians and visitors to Gibraltar alike as a Jazz venue. In fact, the hotel hosts a jazz band every Thursday night. It’s also been known to have tribute nights with a fantastic offer of a three course meal for a very reasonable price. Tribute nights are not, however, a permanent weekly thing. You would need to check with the hotel when the next one would be.
The O’Callaghan Eliott Hotel is situated in the very heart of Gibraltar. It’s literally just around the corner from Main Street and all the shops, cafés, pubs, bars and restaurants. From the hotel, almost everywhere is just a walk away. So, you won’t need to worry about transport unless you plan on doing an independent tour of the rock or if you’re driving across from Spain.
However, we should point out that there are many taxis offering tour services around the rock and the bus system here is pretty good. There are plenty of buses that will get you to, practically, anywhere on the rock and the service is usually very punctual. The only time you might experience delays is during public holidays, Friday afternoons when businesses close for the weekend and special occasions.
